Oleksandr Usyk is a Ukrainian professional boxer. He was born on January 17, 1987, in Simferopol, Crimea, Ukraine. Usyk has had a highly successful career as an amateur and professional boxer, achieving numerous accolades and establishing himself as one of the top fighters in the sport.

In his amateur career, Usyk won a gold medal at the 2011 World Championships and a gold medal at the 2012 Olympic Games in the heavyweight division. He also won several other international tournaments and had an impressive record of 335 wins and 15 losses.
